Mark has been doing bike tours every few years for the past 25 years. He always writes journals on his trips, but he will tell you that they are boring. I think it’s interesting, so I suggested that he try blogging for this trip. He’s going to be relying on public libraries and internet cafés, so there probably won’t be daily posts. If the blog is a success*, maybe next time I’ll buy him a Blackberry.

*Success = more than one reader (i.e. Mark’s mom)
